What's New at Ebenezer?

The Alpha Course at Ebenezer Baptist Church

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun. It’s a place where people can come and ask questions, delve into issues and look for answers together. Find out a little more of the kinds of questions that people ask at the Alpha course...

If you could ask God one question, what would you ask?

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’ We start the evening off with a great meal, and follow that with the current week's topic. After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.

WHO IS ALPHA FOR?

Alpha is for everyone, especially:

  • Those wanting to investigate Christianity
  • New Christians
  • Newcomers to the church
  • Those who want to brush up on the basics

WHAT WILL IT COST?

There is no charge for the Alpha course. Course material and meals are free. Any contribution by donation is alway appreciated, but never expected.

WHEN IS IT?

Beginning February 6th at 6:00PM, we will be hosting the Alpha Course at Ebenezer Baptist Church. We will meet each Monday after that for a total of 11 weeks of course material. The evening consists of a great meal, video material, and conversation, typically ending between 8:30 and 9:00.
