Children's Ministries

Our Mission:  To fulfill the mission of EBC, we partner with families to disciple the children in our care.

Our Vision:  To see children discovering and celebrating who God is, and how they can serve Him as a child of God.

Check-In and Out Procedures: In order to provide safe care in today's world, we have a secure check-in and check-out system. Our electronic check-in is supervised if you need assistance. All ages up to and including grade 3's must be picked up by a parent or sibling with the parent tag portion received at check-in. All children are required to wear their nametag during their time in programming.

Infant Nursery (Ages 0-2)

Little ones are invited to come down and play in a safe and loving environment developed with a variety of needs for these ever-changing tikes in mind

Are you a new Mom?   Congratulations!  We would love to serve you and welcome your little one to our EBC family.  For more information on our Women's Ministry please go to that area dropdown.  We would also welcome you to join the Moms @ Ebenezer facebook group.

Baby Dedication Class:   Three times per year we offer a class for parents interested in dedicating their child to the Lord during one of our services. Parents will learn the significance and reason for this practice, as well as be encouraged to 'begin with the end in mind' by establishing a vision for passing down a legacy of faith to your child. Email Pastor Lyn for more details and dates.

KidZone (Age 2-3)

Our aim is to help children feel loved and cared for while building new relationships with other children in our church family. Kids will enjoy a snack, a story, and interactive play time while being cared for by 2-3 trained leaders.

RUSH (Age 4 - Grade 5)

Kids will be dismissed from the Sunday service to join their friends for an hour of interactive learning. Kids will spend 3 weeks on each bible story from Superbook adventures, discovering how God's story is real, historically accurate, and points us to Jesus! Memory Verses for each story can be found on our FAITH AT HOME page (see link on right side). Kids can receive 2 talents toward Masters Mansion for reciting the verse they are learning to their Kids Small Group leader. We close each morning with a small group share and prayer time around tables in the gym. Children up to grades 3 should be picked up in the gym immediately following the service (please hand in your parent tag).

Kids Small Groups, "KSG" (Age 3 - Grade 5)

From 10:10 to 10:55 on Sunday mornings, late September to mid-May.

It is our desire to partner together with parents to teach children what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. We do this by creating age specific small groups with leaders who believe in and live out relational discipleship. We use Discipleland Adventure curriculum and emphasize Scripture memorization by providing incentives for memorizing and reciting, with our Master's Mansion store.

NOTE: From Oct. 21 - Dec. 2, Grades 1-5 will be practicing for our annual Christmas Musical during 10:15 (Small Groups continue for ages 3-Kindergarten). This season gives our children opportunity to discover and grow their gifts through singing, drama, Scripture reading, etc., as they also memorize important truths about Jesus in word and song. Our musical will be presented December 9th, 2nd Service only. We teach and remind the children that this is an opportunity for them to share their faith with others, as they serve and as they declare the truths about Jesus. In essence, they 'preach' the sermon that morning, much like Jesus did when He used Parables in His teaching.

A schedule for stories and memory verses can be found HERE.
