Exhort One Another | Chet Ingram
This powerful message challenges us to move beyond surface-level church attendance and dive into the transformative work of truly being the body of Christ. Drawing from Hebrews 10:24-25 and Hebrews 3:12-13, we discover that we are called to 'consider' one another - to have our antennas constantly out, watching, analyzing, and paying attention to the spiritual condition of those around us. The Greek word 'paraclete' becomes central here, describing both the Holy Spirit who comes alongside us and our calling to come alongside each other. We learn that the same Spirit who dwells within us to counsel, encourage, comfort, and convict us also empowers us to do the same for our brothers and sisters in Christ. The beautiful story of a friend who walked across a room during a worship service to pray for someone in a dark tunnel illustrates what this looks like in practice - obedience to the Spirit's prompting, vulnerability in asking to pray, and speaking life into someone's discouragement. We are reminded that mature Christian relationships require us to upgrade our interactions, to ask deeper questions, to truly listen, and to minister to one another as the Holy Spirit leads
